The Imposter's Daughter

By: Laurie Sandell
This is a memoir written in graphic novel style. It is about her love and search for the "truth" about her father. In this book we see Laurie grow from a young girl and see her develop, through her difficult relationships with men, her addiction to Ambien and her investigation into her father's life, to ultimately discover her OWN life. This journalist takes her readers on quite the adventure and keeps them hanging on till the final page. It was a sad yet inspiring book and I "tip my hat" to her and her love for her family in writing this book. Review by Bonnie. (Non-fiction) 08/18/09
