This book is interesting from the beginning. Dewey touched many lives in Iowa and he touched mine as I read this book. He resilient loving , grateful and friendly to all being as cat lover myself. I cried at the ending. I had a cat for 21 years and when she died I was heartbroken, just like Vick was when Dewey died. Review by Patricia. (Non-fiction) 08/17/09
