It's the author's second book and I really enjoyed it. It brought the family together after many years with quite a twist and kept going back to the Vietnam War with descriptions to make you more aware of the way things were and why men were the way they were. The things they couldn't talk or wouldn't talk about. Yet skills one man learned to help him save his granddaughter and his family. Good right to the very end. Really kept your interest. I would recommend it highly. (Fiction) 08/12/09
