This book tells an unusual story of a young girl and her father who have carved out a life for themselves in the wild. It shows their struggles to maintain this seemingly happy yet primitive existence versus the possibility of a traditional, civilized life. Although I found certain details of the book too vague, I enjoyed the book and would recommend it. (Fiction) 07/10/09
