Last in the "Dortmunder" series, the author having passed away this year. I read slowly, one chapter at a time, dreading the finish, for it is the last. A worthy piece to remember them (John, Kelp, Stan, Tiny, Stan's Mom, the Kid) by . . . what other gang would be asked to do a reality show about burglars? It has the turns you expect, and twists that you don't. The OJ regulars have hilariously chosen new topics to dissect. The last chapter has some of the slyest jokes I've ever seen from Westlake or anyone else. They go by so fast . . . Ave et vale, Mr. W. (Fiction) 07/27/09
