Even though the plot of Touchstone is exciting, I did not think that the characters acted and spoke according to the time of the action. Europe in the 1920s - it was a time where ladies still wore dresses and gentlemen took off their chapeaux to greet each other in the streets. The author did not catch that spirit. (Fiction) 07/21/09
