Confessions Of A Shopaholic

By: Sophie Kinsella
Confessions Of A Shopaholic was a fun read with a cute (but somewhat unbelievable) storyline. The character of Becky Bloomwood, financial analyst for a British TV show/fashion guru/shopaholic, really MADE the book. The storyline did not match the sass of the main character; it didn't seem to do her justice. I wish there had been more star power in the other characters in the book, especially her love interest, Luke, and her roommate, Suze. These characters were interesting, but they didn't leave much of an impression. That being said, it was a nice, easy and cute read. The perfect book for a vacation! Review by Sarah. (Fiction) 07/15/09
